DESCRIPTION:HUNTINGTON BEACH\, CA (October 13\, 2015)   The Huntington Beach Art Center presents the 12th Art of the Brew on Thursday\, October 22 from 6-9pm. Enjoy microbrew tasting at its best as we celebrate the Art Center's 20th Anniversary with a this unique event. Featuring a variety of micro brewers from Huntington Beach and Southern California\, the lively evening includes presentations by the brewers\, raffles and prizes and a peoples' choice vote for the Best Brew of the year. This year's entertainment includes live music with Is Timmy in the Well?  Munchies include appetizers from Super Mex and Kaya's Kitchen presented under a canopy beer garden setting.  The brewers featured include Beach City Brewery\, BrewBakers\, Evans Brewing Company\, 4 Sons Brewing Company\, Newport Breach Brewing Company and RIIP Beer. General admission tickets purchased in advance are $30. After October 17 and at the door\, tickets are $35.  Reservations are recommended.\n\n \n\nCurrently featured in the galleries is Ed Templeton\, Common Side Effects.\n\n\n\nThe Huntington Beach Art Center is a community arts and cultural center serving Huntington Beach and the Southern California region.  The Center presents the works of artists producing in all media.  Through exhibitions\, performances\, film/video screenings\, lectures and educational programming\, the HBAC serves to advance public awareness and understanding of cultural\, historic\, and contemporary perspectives. The HBAC creates opportunities for local\, regional and national artists and the community to share in a climate of experimentation\, education and experience.  The Huntington Beach Art Center is a public/private partnership between the City of Huntington Beach and the Huntington Beach Art Center Foundation.  During its 17 years of operation\, the Art Center has achieved a regional and national reputation for featuring the work of emerging artists from all backgrounds and viewpoints.
