SUMMARY:Action Committee Meeting - Legislative and Policy 1/25/2012
DESCRIPTION:Purpose:   To review legislation\, voter initiatives and other governmental actions that may impact the Huntington Beach business community.   The task force makes recommendations to the Chamber Board of Directors which makes the final determination on whether or not to support\, oppose or remain neutral on an issue.\n\n\n\nEligibility:  Any Chamber member who has a desire to serve and assist the Chamber in identifying and analyzing legislation\, voter initiatives and other governmental actions that may impact the Huntington Beach Business community.  The Legislative Action Team also includes representation from the offices of local elected officials including our State Senator and Assemblyperson\, County Supervisor and City Council members.  In addition\, the Orange County Business Council sends a representative to the Task Force meetings.\n\n\n\nMeets: The Legislative Action Team meets on a monthly basis on the 4th Wednesday or as necessary in case of emergency\, days and times to be determined.
