DESCRIPTION:Ribs\, Pigs & Watermelons - Pro BBQ Competition and Summer Festival \n\nA Kansas City BBQ Society sanctioned event with 50 of the top nationally ranked BBQ teams and craft beers all weekend long.\n\n\n\n\n\nIn 2014\, American Family Housing (AFH) housed more than 1300 women\, men and children across three southern California counties with little or no government subsidies.  In addition to the continuum of housing offered\, AFH's services target at-risk populations\, such as veterans\, families with a disabled household member and vulnerable adults with barriers to housing stability such as mental illness.  US child homelessness rates reached an all-time high in 2014 with more than 30\,000 homeless children in Orange County alone.  AFH supports homeless families and adults in their efforts to secure a stable home\, to be an active part of their community\, and to achieve a self-sustaining way of life.
