Every 15 Minutes is a staged event of drunk driving crashes involving Huntington Beach High School students to educate the community about the effects of drunk driving and the consequences. The students chosen to portray those killed and injured from drunk driving accidents are related or friends to those that have been effected in real life. This is an emotional day not to miss.
Promoting Resources in Drug Education, Inc. has sponsored this event in conjunction with the California Highway Patrol for the past 10 years. The schools involved rotate every year.
People of all ages are invited, however, children under 12 are not advised to attend, due to the graphic nature of the presentation.
