Future Business Leaders of America-PBL Judging Opportunity

Each year the best of the best college and high school students compete at the annual National Leadership Conferences (NLC). We hold two back-to-back conferences—one for college students (PBL) with over 1,800 attendees scheduled for June 22-25, 2013, and the second for high school students (FBLA) with over 8,000 attendees on June 27-30, 2013. This year the conferences will be held at the Hilton Anaheim.

We would like to team up with your business regarding judging opportunities. We need over 500 business/industry persons to serve as judges on June 23-24 and June 28-29, 2013. The time commitment is normally from 7:30 am-1:00 pm or 12:30 pm-5:30 pm on each day.
 
Volunteers may sign up to judge at http://www.fbla.org/judges/judgesform.asp where they will find a listing of the events by date as well as event descriptions. Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) is a nonprofit student organization that focuses on bringing business and education together through innovative career development programs and leadership training.   
 
There are over 6,000 chapters across the country, and over 250,000 members that range from middle school level through adult professionals. Each summer, students attend the national conference to participate in leadership workshops and compete in a variety of business related events they have qualified for at the state level. This summer we are looking for volunteers to help judge our competitive event competitions in many areas including business plan, business financial plan, entrepreneurship, job interview, Web design, networking, and many others.
