Thursday morning’s “Fireside Chat” will feature Commissioner Carla Peterman, California Public Utilities Commission, Laurie ten Hope, Deputy Director for Research & Development, California Energy Commission and Moderated by Ralph Cavanagh, Co-Director, Energy Program, Natural Resources Defense Council. The panelists will discuss how emerging technologies and emerging technology programs lead the way in addressing energy efficiency, demand response and related initiatives in California and other trail-blazing states and cities.
Thursday’s keynote speaker Rory McDonald, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Harvard Business School will highlight his latest insights on Disruptive Innovation and how innovation works from the customer perspective.
Friday’s plenary speaker Ellen D. Williams, Distinguished University Professor, Department of Physics and IPST, University of Maryland, will share her successes and lessons learned in driving the business of innovation from a government prospective.
