HB Symphony Orchestra presents -- Titans - The Philosophy of War & Peace.
Sunday, October 15, 2023, 3:30pm to 5:30pm, with a short intermission. At the beautiful and historical Academy of Performing Arts Theater on the campus of HBHS, 1905 Main St, HB 92648.
Program: - Prelude to "Tristan und Isolde" by R. Wagner, - Vocalise by S. Rachmaninoff, -1st and 4th mov. of "Symphony N7" by D. Shostakovich, and excerpts from "Also Sprach Zarathustra" by R. Strauss, with the famous introduction that takes us right into Stanley Kubrick's 1968 film, 2001- A Space Odyssey.
